I don't know what it is about Saturdays, but the past few weeks Amelia and I have struggled with nap time on Saturday. One of us wants Amelia to take a nap, and one of us isn't so keen on that idea. I'm sure you can guess which "one" I am. Today I put her down at her normal nap time of 11:30am and within 10 minutes I heard her calling out, "Mommy, Mommy." I went in there, picked her up, walked and sang for a couple minutes, and put her back in bed. Well, by 1pm there had been two more trips into her bedroom and she still wasn't asleep. It isn't my preferred method of getting Amelia to sleep, but I hate no nap days, so I decided to pull out the big guns and take a drive in the car. Within 20 minutes I had a sleeping Amelia. Pure Bliss!

Hey lady!! I love the picture of Amelia still dazed from her nap- what a cutie:)
So Laura introduced me to a "nipple shield" and it has REALLY helped! My nipples were cracked and could never heal with all the nursing so now with the shield they are soooo much better! My milk is a little slow to come in so I am thinking about taking that vitamin supplement- Finugreek (sp??) to up my supply...
We've been struggling with no nap days too. I hate those days!
Hey Elizabeth! I was reading your blog last night and Jeebs saw the title and started singing the song and I said "do you know what movie that comes from?" and he knew it. So points for Jeebs! I'm sure I've seen chitty chitty bang bang, but I don't remember anything about it. Hope you're feeling well.
